Ohmehgerd,

I swear, these drivers today have no respect for pedestrians.

I was out jogging, and I was crossing the street because I had the right of way.  The girl in front of me went ahead before the crosswalk gave the signal for us to go, so I was a few yards behind her when this vehicle tried to make a right between us.  I was fast enough to stop right in front of her vehicle and I held out my hand, "Stop, in the name of love", and I signaled to her that I had the right of way.  She just looked at me as though I was the one who did not belong there.  Stupid ass woman.  I should have let her hit me and then I could have sued her ass.

There's a notorious intersection in Wellington where buses don't take red lights too seriously.

One day I had the cross signal and I yook a step onto the road. Then a speeding bus ran the red light and shot past me less than a couple of feet ahead of me.

Bus driver discovered just how fit I was when I gave chase and got on the bus the next time it stopped.

Bastard got a serious earful and then an official complaint lodged against him.

Either that is an impressive run or a slow bus.
Around here, at certain times of day, you could casually stroll and still catch up with the bus.
