It seems that you have jumped to the conclusion that skeptics have jumped to conclusions.
Actually, I am open minded to the idea that these shortcut methods skeptics use really are the right methods. But I am not sure which means I am just expressing a particular view without being convinced of that view. I am expressing the view that using shortcut methods to arrive at the truth is a flawed method even though I am not actually convinced of that view.
