I agree with without sight the quality of my life would significantly drop, but I dont know if I would kill myself.

I just can't see (no pun intended) any point to life (for me) without sight. I'm a nerd who spends nearly all of his spare time in front of a computer. Sure, I could learn alternate ways to read but I'm also a visual/graphics oriented person. I just can't conceive of life without sight as anything but a purgatory.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
