RE: What are the major qualities you like in a person and in what order?

A major thing to me is to watch out to avoid certain negatives that other people have mentioned. Like violence, being angry, intimidating or attempting to intimidate. It's kind if like building a house, you can have material with all sorts of good qualities but if the foundations are built on dangerous ground it doesn't matter.
Beyond that, the major qualities I like in order are....
Being a good conversationalist. Not necesserily being the funniest person ever but just having something to say, being able to sense if the other person is bored, knowing when to shut up. Being funny. The quality of being sexually attractive in a female. Kindness.
Its not really possible to rank them neatly. Because if I had to choose between being friendly with a moderately attractive female with just quite a good personality I'd probably rather talk to her than an a man who's the funniest guy ever with good conversation skills. But if the girl was boring I'd rather talk to the guy. In general though these are stuff I look for.

And then we extinguish them.
