I'm currently watching The Terror, which includes an Inuit character, and I suspect that it's probably a fairly accurate look at it, although it might not be saying much since the last time I remember seeing a Hollywood depiction of the Inuit, it looked like this:True fur is warm but wearing a parka a lot is smelly even the lighter versions used indoors . And considering we only had one bath a week . And everyone together it gets a bit much after a while .
At least you can take solace in noticing that, as stereotypical as this is, there are other ethnic groups represented and their portrayal isn't much better.
Still, those parkas look a lot different from the buckskins, beads, and Eagle feathers (or Migratory Bird Act of 1918-friendly substitute thereof) Nobody wears, which I suspect would be even more difficult to find than Western-style clothing, and are certainly something closer to regular Western wear than that (in Chicago's winters, I can actually imagine seeing someone wearing something that looks a lot like that [and for practical reasons, yet!]). And at least you're not a kid anymore.
As for depictions yeah were not very numerous so can't imagine their is much out there .And what is wants to go to a romanticized version of us . Guess were not exotic enough in our current state
