I don't think that's the case in all the countries min put on the list. I know it's not the case for Venezuela, as one of my best friends grew up there and said public hospitals were basically garbage.
But my original point is more about the obnoxious habit of people saying "every country but America....." It's always followed by an untrue statement.
Yeah. It is easy to oversimplify things when discussing something as complex as health systems. Look at the amount of people who use the term "universal health care" as a blanket statement for all countries who do it, despite the wide variety in times of universal health care systems.
