Not relevant to what I said. Conducting a poll of liars will result in a result based on lies no matter how rigorous the protocols are.

I don't see why people would lie about that.

Although your objection is why I object to world happiness surveys. But then, it's no surprise I am confused by the idea that anyone even really knows how happy they are, or what "happiness" is supposed to even mean.

As far as I'm concerned pleasure makes sense and is concrete, and pain makes sense and is concrete... but emotions seem purely psychological to me. But then, that's probably because I'm a little odd and have terrible interoception . . .
