I won't post an opinion, nothing derogatory. Just the facts.
If anyone disagrees, tell us why.
[EDITED] As skeptics, (of which atheism is a subset) Thanks guys...my bad.
Firstly, this is an extrapolation from another post which had me thinking.
For the sake of this post, we won't even bring any negativity, either real or perceived, which has come about from belief in "any" God.
As atheists we consider the following:
Antivaxxers
Flatearthers
Mormons
Scientologists
Palm reading
Astrology
Divine miracles (as described in the holy books)
Supernatural (as described in the holy books)
all as equals. They share exactly the same lowest common denominator. Namely 0% proof.
Obviously, if we aren't going to use the word proof in the scientific sense, then why even bother discussing the validity of anything :dunno
You may as well add abiogenesis to that list of beliefs that have no proof, which put you in the same boat.

We atheists really cannot differentiate between all the woo above. (from a scientific and logical perspective) We don't treat the core proponents of religion any different.
My question is should we?
Or more importantly, could we?
Without making compromises to our thought processes? As we all know, we can't control what we believe.
What facts are you guided by that contradict biblical scripture?
Oh, and speaking of woo.
I believe life had a creator, I have no idea of the process.
You believe live created itself, you have no idea of the process.
If one is woo then they are both woo.
Looks like were in the same woo boat buddy.
