But, MK, for any Muslim to deny or criticize the Hadith would be a tremendous insult to the legacy of Persian scholar Bukhari's work and Islam.
But also I kind of get you: on one hand Hadith detail all of Muhammad's nefarious activities and bizarre eccentricities and thus give explicit instructions to Muslims on how they must emulate their master, but, on the other hand, if any Muslim were to conduct themselves like Muhammad (like masturbate, dress in female clothing, have gay sex), they would invariably be classified as an apostate - executed.
Altough even in Quran there is some of Muhammad's homosexual fantasies, like when he fatasized about young boys in heaven:
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.
Quran 76:19
And when we compare it to Hadith, like Al Hadis Vol. 4
There is in Paradise a market wherein there will be no buying or selling, but will consist of men and women. When a man desires a beauty, he will have intercourse with them.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
