And that is what my position boils down to, a man's opinion being valid. I think it is unfair that women get to simply dismiss it. There is no way I would back up enforcing such a thing, but I really do think women should take a future father's opinion into account. Arrangements can be made if she doesn't want to be a mother and he feels strongly enough about it to do it without her, should she be willing to have the baby.
Imposing barbaric religious beliefs is the last thing I would suggest. There really are too many variables in romantic relationships and parenthood to possibly ever have legislation regarding it, contrary to the belief of douchebags who think that they have a right to live our lives for us.
