The trouble, btw, on that count..is that Mystic actually couldn;t acknowledge that fact without denying his faith. The cult he;s in takes it as a matter of faith that casting these magic spells they call "arguments"..if they worked, and people came to believe in their god..would necessarily lead to them bending the knee to their prince. This...is the word and promise of god himself.
If one person believes them and says "and go fuck yourself".....their religion is false. These are a people who literally cannot imagine anyone turning down the dons offer, a people for whom that scenario is a god-killer.
So, you know, it;s demons and dark magic now and forever...since most muslims do believe in their god..and say "and fuck you".
