That's the norm. Olds are much more revealing.

I used to buy The Grauniad but only for AC Grayling's Philosophy column and Araucaria crosswords.

I haven't watched television for over 12 years but I switched one on once in Sydney and it displayed something looking a bit like a Gantt chart. So I switched it off again.

If you've ever run a Service Desk you'll know the difference between Interactions, Events, Incidents, Problems and Changes and also KPIs and Audits etc. A combination of these is what the news used to be. Now it seems to be gossip, rumours, pseudo-diagnosis, sensationalism and corporate sponsorship.

I find my trend analysis and root cause analysis (the interesting stuff) from other sources... friends in low places. I do my own risk analysis.
