A football coach doesn’t send his players to an eternity of torture for losing the game.
First of all he can't so we could just throw your argument out the door, he will work them harder the next week for the mistakes they made. Secondly people send themselves to hell, God made a place for those who decide to reject His Son. All have sinned and fallen short of the will of God, trust in Christ will relieve us of those sins, to do the contrary results in bearing the sin till judgment and then .... well you know.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
