If you had proven god's existence, you wouldn't contradict yourself in the next breath by stating we need to simply accept him on faith.

Faith not based on proof is no faith at all.  The praised belief or faith or trust in Quran is that which is upon clear insight and proof which is acquired through reflection.

But the Babel fish is a dead give away isn't it.
