You know, I usually don't mind it that people pray. It's whatever. If they want to waste their time, that's their business.
But you know what pisses me off? When someone's loved one is sick in the hospital, or having surgery, people go an pray about it, while the men of science are in the O.R. busting their asses to save the person. Then when the person is made well again, everyone goes on shouting shit like, "Glory to God!", "Thank you Jesus!", and "God is so good!".
What about giving some glory to the real people who actually saved their loved one's life?
Of course, if their loved one doesn't make it, then they're quick to blame the doctors, bring lawsuits against them, and be convinced that it's all their fault. They spent all that time praying, and even though it didn't help, they don't blame god.
It makes me want to vomit.
