You do realize that is an English translation of a Greek word, right?

[Note the comparative meaning of 3404 (miséō) which centers in moral choice, elevating one value over another.]
In other words, you are not to love anything more than God, God comes first than family second, but of course through your dishonesty you mean to imply that Jesus means that you should have ill will toward your family.
