Morality isn't defined in degrees, either something is immoral or it isn't.
The only moral code a christian is to abide by is love, which covers a multitude of sin.
Love cannot commit immoral acts and therefore needs no law to govern it's behavior.
Morality comes from the society in which it develops, just as true for meerkats or deer as for people, we have evolved to be social animals.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
