If I were to list everything I find wrong with the standardized system of schooling, I should write a book by the time the list is complete. If I were to further list everything awful in specifically american schooling... I should complete a series of novels by the time I am half done

Passing the HSQE in 10th grade in the 98 percentile when I've learned next to nothing there (I didn't do any of the homework, and I failed most of my classes due to sheer number of zeros swarming around the 90%+ test scores)... disturbs me to no end. I even spent the first half of tenth grade in home school where I accomplished exactly nothing.
I found most introductionary college courses to be no better than the highschool ones I left behind. It's only in the classes that interest me (ie: Russian language) that I've found anything redeemable in college
