If the Trumpster is commuting treason, whether he understands it or not, he should be held accountable under the laws of the nation.
I never even hinted that I thought it was an excuse or that he shouldn't be held accountable. I'm merely suggesting that he might be a blumbering idiot more than a calculating mastermind.
He is a master con to his base. He is beyond bumbling as a diplomat. When you attack the press and ignore or attack intel, not only during your run but while in office, REPEATEDLY, you are doing that deliberately. That makes you dangerous, even if you want to call that bumbling. We cannot afford either dangerous or bumbling.
And just today at a cabinet meting, he repeated the same con as he did with Un, he said NK was no longer a danger, only to have his intel say, "No they are still doing it."
The same thing happened with Russia today. Our top intel keeps repeating that they did interfere, now he is claiming Russia has stopped now? He said that just today! Our intel is certainly furious as they should be.
He is playing to his base and sure, it works for him. "Nobody has been tougher on Russia than I have" really? He said in Finland that our intel should investigate theirs and vice versa? That does not sound "tough" that is not just bumbling that is insane and DANGEROUS.
