I'd welcome it if they wanted to, as long as it was a sensible discussion rather than a conversion attempt. As a theist, I'm not trying to convert anyone. Convert to what! STUPIDITY! If I may be so bold: there isn't a single pastor's, priest's, whatever's, teaching that is worth a damn! The English bible is a complete waste of time! I'm not lying! It is sooo bad!
Correction: I have had a few JWs come to my door. I've always just said I'm not interested. I'd be within my rights to grill them I guess (politely). My friend does that.
I was talking more about reading what theists write online, and watching videos they make. I have had a few sensible discussions on here, but most of my efforts have failed. I've tried every way I can think of to bridge the gap, but sometimes it seems impossible. I have developed a pretty good understanding of theist thought patterns and what causes this difference in the first place, which is largely to do with what they are exposed to as children.
And, I AM NOT A TEACHER! I merely play show and tell with those words I didn't write, in a language I don't speak! Yet, I did learn how to honor the language in it's grammatical inflection. Which inflection, leaves no room for anyone's "private interpretations". Yet, their horrid manipulation and interpretations have caused wars! THESE THINGS SHOULD NOT BE!!!
They are dishonoring my God and they wonder why I look at theology like a brick looks at a stained glass window!
Your god deserves to be dishonoured. He/she/it/housecat is entirely imaginary and, as described, a moral thug.
