Can progressives learn anything from Republicans?

My stake isn't with one party or another. Just with the truth. I see on here voter surpression brought up a lot, and the implication behind it is that Democratics are not doing voter surpression because they are more moral.

This is a false statement. For one, Democratics do do voter surpression. To believe they don't is to simply never have looked into it.
You're still going on about this?  It doesn;t matter to me who does voter suppression to whom..it's a bad idea..and since the dems are totally doing it too..this isn't something they can learn from the GOP as to how to win elections.  Apparently, it works better for one group regardless of both groups doing it...and the remainder of your post describes some of the details why this has been the case.

If a person is looking for something that the dems can learn from the currently successful GOP strategy (I;m pretty sure they're committing suicide, but hey, whatevs)..voter suppression isn't one of them from any angle. It's not in the interest of dems to reduce the number of people voting, it;s not consistent with the party's platform, and whatever amount of it theyre doing now simply isn;t working. Then..ofc....it's wrong and illegal...but we don;t really need to go there to show why it;s a bad idea that only works for bad people, insomuch as it "works", lol.

QED, right?

If I had to put something forward..that might actually work..how about the transparent partinship of nominations?

Say a dem manages to get into office, what do they immediately do?  Appoint "moderates" and even conservatives in an effort to build a coalition and provide some semblance of bipartisanship.

LOL, noobs.

A conservative gets in there and appoints people who say that life starts at the tip of the penis.  Not even a nod to pretense. GG libs.
