It is pointless to say, "you started it". The more important question is "who will end it?"

If only you actually believed that 

You are entitled to your opinion. I do not believe I could have expressed my sincerity in an honest conversation any more clearly than I already have.

Then that's sad 

 Republicans are the current party in power and the primary target of disparagement 

Yup and justly so

civility has increasingly become an issue for all sides with a majority of mainstream media having openly expressed opposition to the Trump administration and Trump supporters accusing those outlets as purveying deceptive and biased coverage.

Civility in the face of evil is apathy and Trump has earned every harsh word despite the salty tears of his cult followers .
