That is a firm stand of not wanting to vote for a racist .What more does he need to say? That he should vote for one racist over another ?

No, he just needs to answer the question posed - in an election in which both candidates have demonstrated past racism, is the only morally acceptable choice not to vote?

He doesn't do so because:

- Hillary Super Predator Clinton has her own racist baggage
- Plenty of liberals here voted for Clinton anyway
- An affirmative answer would mean that he sees those people as immoral supporters of a racist
- He doesn't want to insult those people
- He does want to insult Trump voters

So, he dodges the question.
