Ok, that's not unreasonable. On rethinking, I suppose it's possible that 'monkey things up' is an expression with which I'm unfamiliar. I'm willing to chalk this one up to insensitivity as opposed to racism.

I don’t even think it’s insensitive. I don’t think that we need to remove these words from the laungauge, nor do non racist think that much of them. Unless it’s clearly racist in context, I don’t think that non racist even think like that. I don’t really consider, that I should change the way I am, and how I talk, because I’m around someone who is a different race. It just doesn’t register that much.
