I just finished doing a written analysis of a proof of the fundamental theorem of group homomorphisms. IMO, this is a beautiful theorem, and the construction proof method, which was used to construct an isomorphism from the set of right cosets of the kernel(f) of a group G to a group K, was quite awesome. I'm definitely glad that I decided to cover this material. After I finish this section in my abstract algebra text, I'm probably going to cover some basic sections on rings and then conclude my refresher of an introductory coverage of abstract algebra.
P.S. the f in kernel(f) was in reference to the mapping f:G→K, which is a homomorphism from G onto K. This fact was provided in the hypothesis of the theorem; it was instrumental in obtaining the desired result.
