My instinctive reaction is that there’s something nefarious to a bloke that’s willing to pay people to lie under oath, even if it’s not a lie it’s unseemly at best if not outright illegal.
he won't ask them to lie. But my thought is he'll be wasting his money because testimony procured in that way will not hold up in court. He says he will know if the person is lying. I told him it's not what he thinks but what the judge and jury think. he hasn't listened so far. If I could honestly tell him that it's actually illegal that might work.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
