Don't know enough about it to comment, but oh the irony that the GOP cries presuming innocence but sure they won't bitch about the investigation on this that lead to a trial.
28 years for manslaughter, that sounds more like a sentence for something like 2 or 3rd degree murder.
I wonder what the average sentence for a white person would be convicted of the same charge?
Now again, not talking about this particular case but pointing out regardless of guilt or innocence blacks are still on average charged more harshly and punished more harshly even for minor crimes like pot possession than whites who are charged with the same.
Certainly you should do time for ending someone's life and proven guilty, but please, anyone responding try to look at the long term picture outside this individual case.
