You would. I actually thought about making that comparison a few times. HIV is preventable through other means. Again, I am not saying people shouldn't vaccinate their kids. They damn well should. We just shouldn't make them do it, if the diseases are preventable through other means. A much more desirable approach would be a very thorough campaign on educating people about vaccines and shutting up the morons. If we have to resort to forcing people to vaccinate their children, we are failing as a society.
It is interesting to note that not all Hepatitis vaccinations are mandatory in many areas. However, no one is saying shit about it, despite it being more contagious than HPV from what I can tell. There are extremists on both sides of every debate. In this one, you have people only pimping certain vaccinations when crazy idiots don't like it and then you have the crazy idiots only disliking vaccines that their opposition likes. It's fucking stupid. STDs = wear a fucking condom, provide condoms for your kids.
