I just Tweeted CNN that they should stop talking about armed holy places and schools? Why?
Ask any cop if they like showing up to even just a domestic murder. They are not going to say, "Love it, wish more people would have their heads blown off".
Ask any cop if they love approaching a car and having to worry about getting their heads blown off, they will not say, "Wish more people would pull a gun on me, I love getting shot at and I love shooting people."
NO SANE COP IS GOING TO ARGUE THAT.
The ethical answer most will give you about having to face these dangers is what any sane person will say, "I wish I wouldn't run into this at all".
The lady doctor interviewed after the Navy yard shooting said it best, "Please put me out of business".
Now, she was being metaphorical in basically saying she would rather deal with medical problems that are not preventable like old age or pre existing conditions, than to have to deal with PREVENTABLE DEATHS.
Cops are the same, they don't like going out to a murder scene, they don't like having to respond to mass shootings. Just like that doctor would prefer not to see someone with a bullet in their gut or head.
SO AGAIN, I say, if you don't like these events happening, then repeating the same behavior and getting not only the same results, but more of the same, SORRY, you have your heads up your asses.
