Yes, Min, how why can't you see that if you leave your sandals under the tree of envy then the hot sand will make your steps very limited for your bare feet when you walk on the path of truth and you will be tempted to hide in the shadows of deceit or even worse you will make camels pee more on the sand to cool it for your feet which will make your journey later on into a hazard because you will drain their humps of water.
