Of course, I wouldn't mind a roommate who would put in a good day's work for their room and board, so it turns out that being willing to house a refugee is completely beside the point. Sigh.
The people in the caravan have been very public about what they want. They aren't being sneaky.
If they apply for asylum at the border, they are following the law. If they are rejected without review, the US is breaking the law.
If I'm not mistaken, they can apply for asylum once within the country, regardless of how they entered. A fact which inconveniences Trumptards to no end.
