As long as it's used for food I don't care, neither should the rest of you. Unfortunately the hunting days have passed me by. 

Is it only whitetail? No mule or  antelope? Is chronic wasting disease present?

Mulies are very rare here - but no license is needed should you bag one. Elk qute a bit north of here..

Thankfully - no CWD.

And yes - it's a food thing. I don't even keep antlers - as i don't eat that part.

I butcher my own too. Field to freezer usually under an hour.

Do you know where YOUR dinner came from??

A friend of mine does the same, field to freezer in under an hour. He gave me a nice piece of venison and I have to admit it was the best I’ve ever tasted.
