If you buy meat from a grocery store you have zero business judging someone who hunts deer. Grocery store meat almost always comes from poorly treated animals in inhumane living situations. As i already explained they can judge someone the same way you can judge a cannibal . As for the idea of how animals are treated that's a condemnation of how animals are raised not the general concept of rearing animals for food. I also will note that animals suffer horrifically in the wild . Overall it comes down to the question of your ethics on the acquiring of meat .
You didn’t answer the question. You said there’s a difference between raising an animal for food verses killing a wild animal for food and implied that one is worse than the other. Please explain the difference then.
We judge cannibals, to be completely honest with ourselves, because we value human life over other animals. People can deny it but it’s true for the vast majority of us. Maybe I’m an immoral. Maybe I’m a terrible person...but I do value human life over other animals. I also value dogs over cows and horses over lambs. I don’t know really know what exactly causes these feelings. It just seems like the more easily you can have a relationship with something the more important they become. For me at least.
