Changing clocks twice a year is the dumbest thing ever.
People talk about daylight saving time as giving us "more daylight" in the summer time. No, it doesn't. There are the same number of hours of daylight on a given day regardless of what we demand the time should be on the clocks. That's too scientific for people to understand, I suppose.
In California, we can vote this year on a proposition on whether the state legislature can pass a law to keep daylight saving time all year round. I hope that happens. It's about damn time.
