Ten more fun facts about Springy G:

1. My ancestors came from Scotland on the paternal side, Norway on the maternal side.  I've eaten haggis but not lutefisk, and am thinking of asking Iceland for culinary asylum because harðfiskur (dried fish jerky) is at least edible.
   
2. One of my aspirations is to find someone in the city who can tutor me in stage magic, because one of my childhood heroes was Magic Tom Auburn, who appeared regularly on children's TV shows in Montreal.
   
3. I have dragons (paintings, sculptures, prints on cloth) all over the house.
   
4. I type about 100 WPM.
   
5. For unknown reasons I can do uncanny vocal imitations of a few Muppets, including Animal, the Swedish Chef, and Cookie Monster.
   
6. When I was in my 40s I looked almost exactly like Madonna on the Ray of Light album cover.
   
7. I started out right-handed, but over the years became ambidextrous.
   
8. I have a terrible time matching faces to names until I've met someone multiple times, but can remember the proper spelling of their name for decades.
   
9. Every once in a while I do costume design for myself or someone else, for Halloween or a SF/fantasy convention.
   
10. My first computer was a Digicomp-1 plastic computer from the Edmund Scientific catalogue.
