2.  I'm missing 9 of my 10 fingers due to frostbite in 2008.  I retain the thumb on my left hand.

I'm sorry if it's rude to ask, but how do you type? 

I type using my left thumb. I was a skilled touch typist prior to the injury, so I instinctively know where the keys are at. Motor memory kicks in and my hand flies back and forth around the keyboard without me having to think about what key I need to type next or where it is.
