This is one of the reasons why I will never own a land line again. When you hear clicking on the phone, you know it's tapped.

Actually - a landline phone is LESS likely to be tapped than a cell... Cells go over radio - and anyone with the right equipment can listen. Landlines you need a subpeona - technically....

And clicking isn't an indication of tapping - it' s an indication of poor quality equipment.
