I’m pro-life. I believe at life at conception. The argument that pro life is anti woman is just not true. Think about it this way. You’re driving down a dark road. You think you see someone standing in the street but you aren’t sure. Do you stop? Of course you do because there is a chance that could be a life. Same thing with a fetus.
ETA: Didn't realize this was not your argument when I posted. To quote Emily Litella, "Nevermind."
You stop because the object standing in the road might be a fully developed person who possesses the right to life and you have an obligation to preserve such life. If the object in the road is a turtle or a cat, you're less inclined to take action and probably wouldn't regret hitting them in the same way that you would regret hitting and killing a grown woman. Yet a turtle and a cat are both alive. You don't even concern yourself with the bugs on your windshield. You kill them with impunity. Yet they are alive as well. Like many pro-life arguments, your argument depends upon equivocation and ignoring relevant differences that actually exist. Typically pro-choice people do not deny that a fetus is alive, so your argument and analogy, besides being fallacious and misleading, is a straw man.
