If you were really pro-life, you would support keeping abortion legal, support better teachings on sex education, be trying to make contraceptions more affordable/available, be trying to make healthcare more affordable/available, be supportive of maternal leave for all employees, and be contributing to the lives of children who are already born but unwanted.
It's a fact that abortions will continue to happen regardless of their legality. It's a harsh reality, but it's our reality.
What WILL happen if they are delegalized is far more women will die from being forced to use underground methods. Women, whose lives are already established, may already be mothers to children who NEED them, have families that love them, who were raped or have health issues or simply can't afford to have a child (cuz you know, healthcare is so "cheap" here).
I once read a story where a woman called an abortion clinic that was too far for her to afford to go to (since you have to jump through so many hoops and stay there for 3 days), and she couldn't afford to have another child, so instead she asked them WHAT TOOLS IN HER KITCHEN SHE COULD USE.
That is so so wrong. You are not pro-life if you think that's the way it should be. You are pro-birth, you are not pro-life.
