The reason that you've given is that you think it's a liberal interpretation...but I still have no idea what that's supposed to mean.

I defined what I thought it meant a couple of times.  Why do you think it applies here, and not within the context of the rest of the clauses of that amendment?   Also, I've asked before what law is there for due process that you think was not given?   It doesn't seem to be a matter of law to me for due process under the law; also why I think it's just being shortened to only due process.
