The thing i have said over and over again, but to me it is a vaild point. These people in these lands would go to a temple and to worship their God throw their children alive into fire. You seem to think that is acceptable, i.e. leave them alone you seem to be saying. Moses said to the Hebrews the only reason why you are even allowed to attack these people is because of what they do. Furthermore the people they were disposessing knew of all the miracles against the Egyptiians according to the bible, and we also know the Israelites bought and sold food from the neibours of these nations, so they would have had a chance to let them know the message, i.e. it is only becase they do evil deeds, if they had changed they would have been left alone.
