Quote:1. Hold our nose and vote for you and others like you because the Republicans will be much worseWell, the second choice would be essentially a move that only an amateur would make. Of course you're going to vote for Obama.
2. Vote 3rd Party, knowing the Republicans will win but maybe the Democrats will get the message and find some candidates that have spines for the next go-round.
Quote:We voted for "yes we can!" What we got was "Aw, c'mon guys!"And what exactly were your expectations? He is a politician, for Christ's sake.
Quote:The second option is also unacceptable but it's looking like the only hope to arrest the rightward swing and regain the two party system (meaning a real opposition party to the Republicans, not a Republican-lite party). The question is whether or not we could bite the bullet and endure the next period of Republican rule, considering what a disaster the last one was.I think that the last republican rule wasn't such a big disaster after all.
At least for the great companies, that is. And well, you've secured some oil for your big SUV's.
However, we must face the fact that Obama hasn't done anything that was worthwile during his rule. The healthcare program he proposed did not go through as well as it should have. It's not his fault, though, the Americans simply lack the idea of a national unity, and helping your fellow man. You simply want to stuff your pockets with more moolah.
Quote:Either way, you have been and are a phenomenal disappointment. I hope now you understand why. What exactly did you expect from him? Ending the war? America isn't even done yet.
