I'm using it as how it's defined and used by others, in particular others who use that label to describe themselves. In fact the wikipedia article you cited earlier, even points out this distinction:

Rather than using two different definitions, one that exclusively belongs to you, and the other belonging to them. I utilize theirs.
All you have to recognize is what I mean by it, you don't have to agree with it.
