I never understood the allure of such small bikes. It always seemed to me that it' s just as dangerous, if not even more so as a full sized bike. With a bigger bike you get better acceleration, handling and braking.
But both are just as exposed to the idiots who tend to run into you.
But hey - go with what you like.
You might not please me - but if it pleases you - that' s what counts.
It is true that they are not safer. But they are cheap and rugged. They get like 114 mph (but probably closer to 100 mph with my fat ass on them). I've had larger bikes. You know, like up to 800 cc, so not real large. I admit that I do like the faster acceleration. But the fuel mileage becomes more like that of a sub-compact car. I bought a Ruckus when I lived on the Big Island of Hawaii and really loved it.
We do not inherit the world from our parents. We borrow it from our children.
