I don't think I'll ever trip again. I have too many responsibilities and too much anxiety.
MDMA tends to have a very harsh comedown (if you in fact even get MDMA; much of what is sold as 'ecstasy' today is actually MDPV and methamphetamine), which is why I never got into it.
With LSD, psilocybin and other tryptamines, you sort of just ease back into sobriety, for me there's never really been a real comedown on either. Though I suppose it depends on how 'clean' your acid is, personal body chemistry, etc.
I think psychedelics, used in the right setting, with the right intentions, can be amazing. But yea, when you have a job and/or family and other responsibilities, it's hard to find time to do things like trip your balls off and contemplate infinity.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
