Yes, I have a 17 year old who lives with me part time. He seems fine with it, though he only has to deal with it on the weekends. We simply did not want to live in our house while it's on the market - what a hassle. As we were buying a travel trailer anyways, it seemed a better option than finding a short-term rental in an area that is notoriously expensive.
In the most optimistic scenario, we'll be living like this for another six weeks. Realistically, it's probably more like 8-9.
We don't fight. After both of us being in extremely dysfunctional first marriages, we've figured out how to get along.
Don't fight? That's great to hear. I understand about first marriages. Mine left me a bit gun shy. I did look, after ten years, half heartedly, but I guess not willing to take that risk again. Probably a poor choice in the long term.
