So "we lost" the family due to infidelity? When did this happen? When it comes to Church you can watch that documentary "Mea Maxima Culpa" about priests raping kids in early 1960s which was before 1968 (sex revolution). Also it seems that rampant homosexuality between priests and pedophilia was always present in the Church because there is a book called "Book of Gomorrah" written by monk Peter Damian back in the year 1051 which is about rampant homosexuality among priests and priests who misuse the sacraments to defile boys.
