I recall Billy Graham, after publicly excoriating Jim Bakker for marital infidelity, and subsequently discovered to have been doing it too, crying like a baby and telling his congregation, "I have sinned against you!". At least he admitted it, which I guess is some sort of plus. Truth is, this has been going on since the human race has existed. The problem is that with the religious, they get some sort of free ticket that lets them slip away from the charges.
