Christianity down, secularism up!

Quote: [Image: hehe.gif]  No show to whom?
To me if course

Quote:I got dragged in front of him.. (i'm not the only one.)
Cool story bro

Quote:You mean for you... meaning you think you are the standard of the universe. IE if God does not pull out all the stops in heaven and earth to bow before you, there can be no God???

Nope nor do need to be for your god to reveal himself .I never asked him to bow just show up seems a modest request of someone who asks I devote my life to him and if he doesn't what reason do I have to accept his existence ?

Quote:What if snow flake, you are one of a kind?

Even if I were it's hardly important

Quote:what if God does not own you a personal magic show
I didn't ask for one nor do I think i'm owed it . But by the same token I don't think I owe him anything eitherif that's the case .

Quote:  till you make the same effort everyone else is commanded to make?

He wants a relationship I couldn't care less  if that effort is to much for him he must not want it that bad . And I don't take commands .

You want to mock and want to strut how right you are but forgo the very nature of God to be right. In this case specifically you think so linearly with you at the center of the universe (meaning your personal understand and experience of life is all that can be) that you ignore a big part of wh God is and your own very nature and perceptions.

!_________________________________$_XX___________________*

do you see the above diagram? a ! then a ___ then $ the more _ then XX and finally another ___ and *

Let's say ! is the beginning of time.

Then ______ is all the time between day one and when ever Jesus was born.

$ was when Jesus dies.

_ is the time between you and Jesus.

X is your birth the second X is your death

the _______ is all the time left after you are gone

* is the end of the reign of man. No more humans being born on earth.

Ok still with me?

How much time from the beginning of the time to your birth? what did it feel like? million years a bazillion years? or was their no feeling no account?

Now that you are alive you can only witness time a moment at a time as time goes by, and have to live out every second and experience every second. but again did you experience every second before you where born? no. no concept of time and or even consciousness..

So what do you think will happen when you die? when all of your internal clocks/this body ability to be locked in a moment of time and sense the passage of time dies?

It means we/whatever is left (IE according to the bible our soul) is ripped from linear time and place before God. who can view time just like you can view the time line I drew.

Do you understand? If this life sticks you on that line and you can only see one moment at a time, then death removes you from that line and allows you to view or see time as God has.

Meaning when you die, to you.. The second comming has already happened. Which is why post death conversions are too late.

Think about it look at how the book of revelation was written. not as a prophesy, but God took John and set him on a vantage point to see man's last days unfold. For John and everyone else on this time line we see it as a foretelling of a future event. in truth the book of revelation is written as a historical text. Meaning it was written after John saw what had happened. The book was written from a vantage point that saw the second comming come and go. Even if we on this time line can only experience the moments as they happen for now.

But again when we die, and we leave this body and this time to be with God we will see time as he sees it. as being complete.

Again princess just because you view time one moment at a time does not mean the rest of the universe is stuck by your measure, ..

To put it another way. if we where 24 hour fruit flies we would literally have 24 hours to be born mature mate and die. Now just because we may have been born on a friday and will never see the end of the weekend it does not mean wednesday does not exist. In fact it would be quite foolish for the fruit fly to judge the rest of the universe based on it's personal experience of it's little corner and tiny little experience in life.

So again your measure of God of time of anything beside your own circumstance is foolish to mock just because you personally do not have experience with it.

That would be like saying firemen are stupid because you want to be a cop. If you are going to make a statement about firemen it would be wise to first learn about them and possible experience what they do before you make a final judgement, fruit fly.
So a bunch of nonsensical analogies , Appeals to the mysterious beyond as if that's suppose to impress anybody .Appeals to "it will happen someday " ,straw men of other people thoughts ,Rambly falseprofound deepity, Presumpostionalism without justification, And of course blather of convert or burn appeals to emotion . So a great deal of hot air .
Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.
