Two things I learned about Hans Asperger (yes, he of the disorder) I learned today.
The good: one of his early patients was Nobel laureate Elifrede Jelinek, author of The Piano Teacher, which would later be turned into the movie of the same name directed by Michael Haneke.
The bad: he ended up being complicit in Aktion T-4. Honestly, as a famous doctor active in Vienna at the time who made the mistake of not getting the hell out of Dodge when the getting was good, AND survived the end of the war, this was probably inevitable.
